Mind by nature is clear, lucid and knowing. All events in the mind are temporary and do not belong to its true nature. Habitually, however, we are drawn to identity with the contents of the mind, with our emotions, ideas and neuroses. This transcript guides us on the journey to the primordial nature of our mind itself. Gelek Rimpoche talks about the nature of the mind, its continuation, its capacity and its relation to the energies within our body. He shows us how to approach the mind and meditate on it, so that we may thoroughly know it and ‘come home’, freed from the pre-occupations that keep us alienated from our true nature. As a result we may get a better outlook on life and on the world.
